Kelly Hodgson - Math
Kelly has a BS in Elementary Education from Texas A&M University. Kelly taught school for several years before becoming a mother. After an 18 year break, Kelly is excited to be back in the classroom! Kelly was a South Highlands School parent for 9 years while her son and daughter were in elementary school.

Lauren Briscoe - Science & Social Studies
Lauren has a bachelor's degree in Biology from LSU in Shreveport, with a minor in Chemistry. Lauren became aware of her passion for teaching as a cheerleading coach at Louisiana CheerNastics. She underwent an alternative cerification through the Caddo Parish School Board and began her journey as as an educator at Sunset Acres Elementary, teaching 4th grade math and science. In her spare time, she enjoys coaching cheerleading and spending time with her family. Lauren is very excited to be part of the South Highlands Family.
Mary Catherine Kreamer - Gateway ELA
Mary Catherine Kreamer is a graduate of Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, where she majored in Elementary Education. She then went on to receive her Master’s Degree in Gifted and Talented from Louisiana State University in Shreveport. Being a graduate of South Highlands herself, Mary Catherine is thrilled to be teaching at her childhood school where she made so many wonderful memories. She is married to Dan Kreamer and they have two sons, Hutch and Gray and one daughter Maxwell.

Dawn Allen - Gateway Math
Dawn Allen graduated from LSU in 1996 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology. She received her Masters in Elementary Education from LSUS in May 2000. Dawn has been teaching for 15 years in a wide range of grade levels. She married her husband, Danny, in 1993 and they have two daughters, Mackenzie and Madison. Mrs. Allen likes going to movies, and traveling during her time off.

Shawn Greer graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Northeast Louisiana University (ULM) where she majored in Elementary Education. She is certified to teach first through sixth grades and has taught second, third, fourth, and fifth grades since 1995. Mrs. Greer is married to Patrick, has two daughters, Peyton and Paige, and a fur baby, Draxx. Mrs. Greer enjoys spending time with her family, going to the movies, watching Paige dance on Friday nights during Gator football, eating Mexican food, and simply hanging out on the patio at home.
