Mary Camden - National Board Certified        
Mary graduated with a B.S. from Northwestern State University in 1985. She is a National Board Certified Teacher in Literacy:  Reading-Language Arts/Early and Middle Childhood. Mary began her teaching career at St. Joseph's School in 1985 and continued in Bossier Parish at Curtis Elementary in 1990. She has taught fifth grade ELA at South Highlands since 2008. In Bossier Parish she assisted in obtaining 8G Grants for technology to improve school-wide instruction. She has also obtained grants to increase classroom activities to improve instruction. She is a member of ADK, a teaching sorority. Mary and her husband Mike have three children:  Michael (and his wife Danielle), Emily (and her husband Trevor), and Caroline.  In her free time, Mary enjoys spending time with her grandson, Henry!

Kelly Hodgson
Kelly has a BS in Elementary Education from Texas A&M University.  Kelly taught school for several years before becoming a mother.  After an 18 year break, Kelly is excited to be back in the classroom!  Kelly was a South Highlands School parent for 9 years while her son and daughter were in elementary school.

Lauren Woodward         
Lauren has a bachelor's degree in Biology from LSU in Shreveport, with a minor in Chemistry. Lauren became aware of her passion for teaching as a cheerleading coach at Louisiana CheerNastics. She underwent an alternative cerification through the Caddo Parish School Board and began her journey as as an educator at Sunset Acres Elementary, teaching 4th grade math and science. In her spare time, she enjoys coaching cheerleading and spending time with her family. Lauren is very excited to be part of the South Highlands Family.

Mary Catherine Kreamer - Gateway 
​Mary Catherine Kreamer is a graduate of Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, where she majored in Elementary Education. She then went on to receive her Master’s Degree in Gifted and Talented from Louisiana State University in Shreveport. Being a graduate of South Highlands herself, Mary Catherine is thrilled to be teaching at her childhood school where she made so many wonderful memories. She is married to Dan Kreamer and they have two sons, Hutch and Gray.​
