South Highlands third graders won 2nd place at "The Greening of the Tree" at the Louisiana State Exhibit Museum. They won $10.00 for our school. Way to go 3rd graders and Mrs. Fontaine.
Congratulations to the following students on their performance in the Caddo Parish Elementary Fitness Meet. James Hall placed 1st. Dominic Curnutte placed 23rd. Athan Cosse placed 18th. Georgia Hillburn placed 4th and Morgan McGuire placed 10th. James, Georgia, and Morgan qualified to compete in the Spring Meet. Olivia Hilburn won 1st place at the Louisiana Elementary & Junior High State Cross Coruntry Championship out of all the 3rd and 4th grade female runners.
